Plants of interest
A new volunteer group, 'The Friends of Highdown Research Volunteers', was formed as part of the project 'Understanding Highdown Gardens: Interpretation and Heritage', which was made possible by funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
The group researched the history and plants of Highdown Gardens, and have produced a number of plant profiles of key plants in our National Collection so you can discover a little more about them, when they are in season, their history in the Gardens and where they came from. The profiles can be found below.
